3- Will suit Holden VE and VF V8 Model Commodores when converting from a 1-bolt to a 3-bolt camshaft. This conversion kit is designed to allow installation of a 3-bolt style camshaft into a 2006 and newer LS2/LS3 engine that currently utilizes a single bolt camshaft. Some 2006+ Gen IV LS2/LS3 engines originally used a single bolt camshaft which has been known to potentially shear the camshaft dowel pin which allows the camshaft to come out of time with the engine crankshaft, resulting in catastrophic damage. This upgrade kit allows use of the superior 3-bolt camshaft design.

This kit also includes the Performance Heavy Duty Timing Chain. This is a heavy duty single roller chain that uses an improved alloy steel and the sideplates have an increased thickness to improve strength.
